REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1918.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1918, to conic into operation forthwith.

Australian Military Regulations.

(Statutory Rules 1916, No. 166, as amended to this date.)

Amendment.

Regulation 4 is amended by adding at the end thereof, the following definition:—

“Soldier” includes a warrant officer, a non-commissioned officer and every person subject to military law, and includes a person who is liable to be trained under paragraph (c) or (d) of section 125 of the Act, but does not include an officer.
