Australian Military Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903.

Composition of Specialist Service Officer Division

1. Regulation 23 of the Australian Military Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (2) (d) “and” (last occurring); and

(b) by adding at the end of sub-regulation (2) the following word and paragraph:

“; and (f) any officer who is transferred from another Division under paragraph 76 (1) (f)”.

Composition of Prescribed Service Officer Division

2. Regulation 24 of the Australian Military Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (2) (a) “and” (last occurring); and

(b) by adding at the end of sub-regulation (2) the following word and paragraph:

“; and (c) any officer who is transferred from another Division under paragraph 76 (1) (f)”.

 

Transfer and secondment of officers

3. Regulation 76 of the Australian Military Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (1) (d) “or” (last occurring);

(b) by adding at the end of sub-regulation (1) the following word and paragraph:

“; or (f) an officer included in a Division established by regulation 22 to another such Division”; and

(c) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:

“(4) An officer shall not be transferred from one Division to another under paragraph (1) (f) unless his consent in writing to be so transferred has been delivered to the Governor-General or to an officer authorized by the Governor-General under sub-regulation (1).”.
