I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Extended leave of absence without pay

1. Regulation 473 of the Australian Military Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting sub-regulation (1); and

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “this regulation” and substituting “Determination 2608, Leave Without Pay, made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903”.

Application

2. This Interim Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 2608, Leave Without Pay, is made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903.
