REGULATION UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1918.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1918, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of the Australian Military Regulations 1916.

The Australian Military Regulations 1916 are amended by inserting next after regulation 1207 the following regulation:—

1207a. (1) Senior Cadets who change their place of residence to another training area will, except as provided in A.M.R. 1207(3), be transferred to that area.

(2) Transfers will be notified on the authorized form and the authorized copy of the entries in the Record Book transferred to the Area Officer of the area to which the senior cadet is being transferred. The Area Officer of the area from which a senior cadet is being transferred will be held responsible that all entries in the Record Book are complete on transfer.

(3) Non-commissioned Officers will, on transfer, retain their rank and seniority according to the date of their appointment, and if in excess of establishment will be supernumerary of that rank pending absorption.
