Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Act 1977.

The Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Regulations are amended by adding at the end the following regulation:

Bodies prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 10 (2) (b) of the Act to be eligible industry bodies

"4. For the purposes of paragraph 10 (2) (b) of the Act, each of the following bodies is an eligible industry body:

(a) Meat and Allied Trades Federation of Australia;

(b) Australian Livestock Exporters' Association.".
