Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Regulations 2(Amendment)

  

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and after taking into consideration the recommendation with respect to the amount to be prescribed for the purposes of subsection 34a (1) of the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Act 1977 made to the Minister of State for Primary Industries and Energy by the members of the Exotic Animal Disease Preparedness Consultative Council established by the Exotic Animal Disease Control Act 1989 who are nominated by the National Farmers’ Federation, make the following Regulations under the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Act 1977.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1991.

  

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

 

3.   New regulation 5

3.1   Add at the end:

 

Prescribed amount for the purposes of subsection 34a (1) of the Act

“5.

For the purposes of subsection 34a (1) of the Act, the amount of $270,355 is prescribed.”.
