Regulations2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and after taking into consideration the recommendation with respect to the amount to be prescribed for the purposes of subsection 34A (1) of the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Act 1977 made to the Minister of State for Primary Industries and Energy by the members of the Exotic Animal Disease Preparedness Consultative Council (being the Council established by the Exotic Animal Disease Control Act 1989) nominated by the National Farmers’ Federation, make the following Regulations under the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Act 1977.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1992.

2.   Amendment

2.1 The Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation

 Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 5 (Prescribed amount for the purposes of subsection 34A (1) of the Act)

3.1   Omit “$270,355”, substitute “$254,265”.
