Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and having taken into consideration the last recommendation with respect to the amount to be prescribed for the purposes of subsection 34A (1) of the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Act 1977 made to the Minister for Primary Industries and Energy by the members of the Exotic Animal Disease Preparedness Consultative Council nominated by the National Farmers’ Federation, make the following Regulations under that Act.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 5 (Prescribed amount for the purposes of subsection 34A (1) of the Act)

3.1   Omit “$266,356”, substitute “278,165”.
