REGULATION UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1918.

I, SIR ARTHUR LYULPH STANLEY, Deputy of the Governor-General in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1918 to come into operation forthwith.

The Australian Junior Cadet Regulations 1917 are amended by inserting next after regulation 14 the following regulation:—

“14a. In the case of any school where the training is not being carried out to the satisfaction of the District Commandant, or where the regulations dealing with the training of Junior Cadets are not being observed, the Military Board may order that the Junior Cadets of such school shall attend for training for the remainder of the current year under military instructors as pre­scribed by regulation 13 for Junior Cadets who are not attending schools.”
