Alteration of other rules of organisation.

[1]        On 17 October 2013 the Western Australian Branch (‘the Branch’) of the above

organisation lodged with the Fair Work Commission a notice and declaration setting out
particulars of alterations to the rules of the Branch.

[2]        The particulars set out alterations to rules 6, 11, 13, 16, 20, 23, 28, 36 and 40 of the

rules of the Branch.

[3] On 31 October 2013 the Branch lodged a fresh declaration signed by the President of the Branch and a letter giving consent, pursuant to subsection 159(2), to the amending of the alterations by the General Manager for the purpose of correcting a typographical, clerical or formal error.

[4]        On the information contained in the notice, I am satisfied the alterations have been

made under the rules of the organisation.

[5]        In my opinion, the alterations comply with and are not contrary to the Fair Work

(Registered Organisations) Act 2009, the Fair Work Act 2009, modern awards and enterprise

agreements, and are not otherwise contrary to law. I certify accordingly under subsection

159(1) of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009.
