Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1]        On 15 August 2013 the New South Wales Branch of the Australian Hotels Association

lodged with the Fair Work Commission (FWC) the prescribed information in relation to an

election for the following offices:

Delegates to Council from the Accommodation Division	(2)
Delegates to Council from the General Division (from the	(55)
following sub-branches):

[2] On 22 August 2013, FWC wrote to the New South Wales Branch of the abovenamed organisation advising that it sought further information to confirm that the number of Delegates to Council was as determined by the Council of the New South Wales Branch of the abovenamed organisation.

[3]        On 11 September 2013, the New South Wales Branch of the abovenamed organisation

lodged with FWC a written response to the letter of 22 August 2013 confirming that the

number of Delegates to Council is 57 and that this number ‘has remained unchanged since at
least 2009’.

[4]        I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed offices is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
