 These Regulations may be cited as the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (Allowances) Regulations.

2Commencement [see Note 1]

 Regulation 4 is taken to have commenced on 31 January 1989.

3Interpretation

 In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

Act means the Australian Film, Television and Radio School Act 1973.

Public Service Determination 1984/46 means that Determination as in force on 31 January 1989.

4Prescribed allowances – Director

 For the purposes of subsection 27 (2) of the Act, the following allowances are prescribed, namely, the allowances determined in Public Service Board Determination 1984/46, as if a reference in that Determination to the relevant Secretary were a reference to the Council.
