Australian Federal Police Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Australian Federal Police Act 1979.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Australian Federal Police Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Regulation 39AB (Approved program: paragraph 36A (4) (b) of the Act)

2.1   Omit the regulation, substitute:

Approved programs:

paragraph 36A (4) (b) of the Act

 “39AB. Each of the following programs is declared to be an approved program for the purposes of paragraph 36A (4) (b) of the Act:

  • (a)

    the Intellectual Disability Access Program;

  • (b)

    the Australian Federal Police Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Development Program.”.
