(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Australian Federal Police Act 1979.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on 20 October 1984.

Amendment of Statutory Rules 1984 No. 296

2. Regulation 24 of Statutory Rules 1984 No. 296 is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (1) (b) “examination referred to in paragraph (a)” and substituting “examination held at any time by the Committee”; and

(b) by omitting from paragraph (2) (a) all words from and including “sat” and substituting “previously sat for the qualifying examination; and”.
