Australian Federal Police Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Australian Federal Police Act 1979.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 February 1998.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Australian Federal Police Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Schedule 4, Form 6 (Warrant under subsection 12G (2) in relation to a particular person)

3.1   Omit “an eligible Judge,”, substitute “[an eligible Judge]2 /[a nominated AAT member (within the meaning of the Australian Federal Police Act 1979)]2,”.

3.2 Omit “Judge of the

 12”, substitute “[Judge of the 12]2 /[nominated AAT member]2”.

3.3   Note 1:

After “Judge”, add “or nominated AAT member”.

3.4   Note 11:

After “Judge”, add “or nominated AAT member”.

3.5   Note 12:

Before “insert”, insert “if appropriate,”.

4.   Schedule 4, Form 7 (Warrant under subsection 12G (4) in relation to a particular person)

4.1   Omit “an eligible Judge,”, substitute “[an eligible Judge]2 /[a nominated AAT member (within the meaning of the Australian Federal Police) Act 1979)]2,”.

4.2 Omit “Judge of the

 11”, substitute “[Judge of the 11]2 /[nominated AAT member]2”.

4.3   Note 1:

After “Judge”, add “or nominated AAT member”.

4.4   Note 10:

After “Judge”, add “or nominated AAT member”.

3.5   Note 11:

Before “insert”, insert “if appropriate,”.
