(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Australian Federal Police Act 1979.

Principal Regulations

1. In these Regulations, Principal Regulations means the Australian Federal Police Regulations.

Interpretation

2. Regulation 2 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting the definition of “association” and substituting the following definition:

association means the Australian Federal Police Association, being an organisation within the meaning of the Industrial Relations Act 1988;”.

Repeal of Part IV

3. Part IV of the Principal Regulations is repealed.
