Australian Federal Police (Discipline) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia,
acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the
following Regulations under the
Dated 16 August 1984.

By His Excellency’s Command,
(a) by omitting from sub-regulation ( 1 ) “has determined that a member is guilty of a disciplinary offence or the Disciplinary Tribunal has remitted proceedings to the Commissioner under paragraph 67 (3) (b) of the Complaints Act” and substituting “has, under regulation 21, determined that a member is guilty of a disciplinary offence”;
(b) by inserting before paragraph (1) (a) the following paragraph:
“(aa) admonish the member;”; and
(c) by inserting after sub-regulation (1a) the following sub-regulation:
“(1b) Where—
(a) a member is reduced to a lower grade within the rank that he is holding or to a lower rank or a grade within a lower rank; and

(b) salary is payable to members holding that lower grade, lower rank or grade within that lower rank (as the case may be) in accordance with a scale of rates,
the Commissioner shall determine the rate, being a rate included in that scale of rates, at which salary is to be paid to the member.”.
