Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1]        On 28 August 2015 the Australian Education Union (the Union) lodged with the Fair

Work Commission the prescribed information in relation to an election for the following

offices:

Federal President

Deputy Federal President

Six (6) members of the International Trust Fund Committee

Federal TAFE President

Federal TAFE Secretary

[2]        On the same day the Union lodged with the Fair Work Commission the prescribed

information in relation to an election for the following offices:

4 Federal Executive Members representing the General Division of the NSW Branch;

3 Federal Executive Members representing the General Division of the Queensland Branch;

4 Federal Executive Members representing the General Division of the Victorian Branch;

1 Federal Executive Member representing the General Division of the Tasmanian Branch;

1 Federal Executive Member representing the General Division of the Northern Territory

Branch;

1 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Federal Executive Member

1 National Principal Federal Executive Member

1 Early Childhood Educator Federal Executive Member

[3]        I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed offices is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
