I, CHRISTOPHER PYNE, Minister for Education, make the following determination under subsection 14(1) of the Australian Education Act 2013.

1  Name of determination

This determination is the Australian Education (Participating States and Territories) Determination 2014.

2  Commencement

This determination commences on 1 January 2014.

Note: Subsection 14(2) of the Australian Education Act 2013 provides that a determination under subsection 14(1) comes into force on 1 January of the year specified in the determination.

3  Determination of participating States and Territories

For subsection 14(1) of the Australian Education Act 2013, the following States and Territories are participating States and Territories:

(a)  New South Wales;

(b)  South Australia;

(c)  Australian Capital Territory.
