1Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Australian Crime Commission Amendment Regulations 2004 (No. 1).

2Commencement

These Regulations commence as follows:

1. (a)

   on the date of their notification in the Gazette — regulations 1 to 3 and Schedule 1;

2. (b)

   on 12 March 2004 — Schedule 2.

3Amendment of Australian Crime Commission Regulations 2002

Schedules 1 and 2 amend the Australian Crime Commission Regulations2002.

   For subparagraphs 55A (5B) (b) (ii) and (5C) (b) (ii) of the Act, each kind of duty, function or power under a provision of a State law mentioned in an item in Schedule 5 may be conferred on a Judge of the Federal Court or a Federal Magistrate, as mentioned in the item.
