Australian Communications Authority Regulations 1998

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Australian Communications Authority Act 1997.

Part 1—Preliminary

Name of Regulations

 1. These Regulations are the Australian Communications Authority Regulations 1998.

Commencement

 2. These Regulations commence on gazettal.

Definition

 3. In these Regulations:

“Act” means the Australian Communications Authority Act 1997.

Part 2—Protected symbol

Protected symbol

 4. For the definition of “protected symbol” in subsection 55 (7) of the Act, the design of the Authority’s official symbol is:
