I, STEPHEN MICHAEL CONROY, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, under subsection 125AA(4) of the Telecommunications Act 1997 and subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, amend the Australian Communications and Media Authority (International Mobile Roaming Industry Standard) Direction (No. 1) 2012.

1. Name of Instrument

This Instrument is the Australian Communications and Media Authority (International Mobile Roaming Industry Standard) Direction (No. 1) 2012 (Amendment No. 1 of 2013).

1. Commencement

This Instrument commences the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

1. Definitions

In this Instrument:

Principal Instrument means the Australian Communications and Media Authority (International Mobile Roaming Industry Standard) Direction (No. 1) 2012.  

1. Amendment

In subclause 5(2) of the Principal Instrument, omit “nine” and substitute “ten”.
