Australian Citizenship Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Australian Citizenship Act 1948.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 October 1985.

Application for registration of name

2. Regulation 7a of the Australian Citizenship Regulations is amended by adding at the end the following sub-regulation:

“(3) The fee payable on lodging an application referred to in sub-regulation (1) to register the name of a person for the purposes of section 10b of the Act is $25.”.

Declaratory certificate of citizenship

3. Regulation 8 of the Australian Citizenship Regulations is amended by inserting after sub-regulation (1) the following sub-regulation:

“(2) The fee payable on lodging an application pursuant to this regulation for a declaratory certificate of citizenship is $30.”.
