(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Australian Citizenship Act 1948.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 20 August 1986.

2. After regulation 8 of the Australian Citizenship Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Fee on lodgment of application for grant of certificate of Australian citizenship

“9. A fee of $35 is payable on the lodgment of an application under section 13 of the Act for the grant of a certificate of Australian citizenship.”.
