Australian Capital Territory Supreme Court (Admission of Practitioners) Rules2 (Amendment)

WE, Judges appointed under sub-section 7 (1) of the Australian Capital Territory Supreme Court Act 1933, hereby make the following Rules of Court under section 28 of that Act.

Commencement

1. These Rules shall come into operation on 1 November 1983.

2. Rule 4 of the Australian Capital Territory Supreme Court (Admission of Practitioners) Rules is repealed and the following rule substituted:

Admission days

“4. Applications for admission shall be heard -

(a) on the third Friday in February, June, August and October;

(b) on the third Friday in April or, if that day is Good Friday, on the second Friday in April;

(c) on the second Friday in December; and

(d) on such other days as the Chief Justice appoints.”.
