1  Name

This instrument is the Australian Capital Territory National Land (Road Transport) (Parking Fees) Amendment (Fees) Determination 2022.

2  Commencement

(1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under section 96 of the Road Transport (General) Act 1999 (ACT), as applied by the National Land (Road Transport) Ordinance 2014 and as modified by that Ordinance and the Australian Capital Territory National Land (Road Transport) (Parking Legislation, Fees and Permits) Rules 2021.

4  Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Australian Capital Territory National Land (Road Transport) (Parking Fees) Determination 2021

1  Subsection 5(1) (cell at table item 1, column 2)

Repeal the cell, substitute:

for up to and including 4 hours—$3.60 per hour (pro‑rated for part of an hour).

2  Subsection 5(1) (cell at table item 2, column 2)

Repeal the cell, substitute:

(a) $3.60 per hour (pro‑rated for part of an hour) up to the amount mentioned in paragraph (b); or

(b) for 1 day—$16.00; or

(c) for 5 days—$77.50.
