An Act to provide for the number of Ministers for the Territory

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

  1. Name of Act

    This Act is the Australian Capital Territory (Ministers) Act 2013.

  2. Commencement

    This Act commences on the day after its notification day.

    NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

  3. Number of Ministers—Self-Government Act, s 41 (2)

    (1)This Act is made for the purposes of the Australian Capital Territory (Self-Government) Act 1988 (Cwlth), section 41 (2).

    (2)There may be no more than 9 Ministers for the Territory.
