Australian Broadcasting Tribunal (Inquiries) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Broadcasting Act 1942.

1. Amendment

1.1 The Australian Broadcasting Tribunal (Inquiries) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2. Regulation 8 (Disposal of certain matters)

2.1 Paragraph 8 (1) (a):

Omit the paragraph, substitute:

“(a) the Tribunal:

(i) receives an application requesting the exercise of; or

(ii) otherwise proposes to exercise;

any of its substantive powers other than the power to grant or renew a licence that is not a limited licence; and”.
