REGULATIONS UNDER THE AUSTRALIAN BROADCASTING ACT 1942.*

I, THE DEPUTY OF THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby mate the following Regulations under the Australian Broad­casting Act 1942.

Australian Broadcasting Commission (Staff) Regulations.

Citation.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Australian Broadcasting Commission (Staff) Regulations.

Conditions of staff of Australian Broadcasting Commission.

2. Officers and servants appointed by the Commission under section 17 of the Australian Broadcasting Act 1942 (including officers and servants of the Australian Broadcasting Commission constituted under the Australian Broadcasting Commission Act 1932-1940 deemed, by virtue of sub-section (8.) of section 17 of the Australian Broadcasting Act 1942, to have been appointed by the Commission under that section) shall, subject to the Australian Broadcasting Act 1942, be subject to the same conditions (including tenure of office) as the conditions to which they were subject immediately prior to the commencement of the Australian Broadcasting Act 1942.
