REGULATIONS UNDER THE AUSTRALIAN BROADCASTING

ACT 1942-1946.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of .Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Australian Broadcasting Act 1942-1946.

Amendments of the Australian Broadcasting Commission (Staff) Regulations.  

Travelling allowance.

1. Regulation 76 of the Australian Broadcasting Commission (Staff) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the table appearing therein and inserting in its stead the following table:—

“ Rate or salary.(Actual).

Rate of allowance during first 21 days' residence in any one place.

Rate of allowance after first 21 days' residence in any one place.

2. Regulation 78 of the Australian Broadcasting Commission (Staff) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the figures and words—

Overtime payments to officers.

3. Regulation 84 of the Australian Broadcasting Commission  (Staff) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting the words "Seven hundred and sixty-eight pounds" (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words "Nine hundred and fourteen pounds"; and

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (3.) the words "Four hundred and fifty pounds" (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words "Five hundred and sixteen pounds".

Special sick leave.

4. Regulation 149 of the Australian Broadcasting Commission (Staff) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the word "three" and inserting in its stead the word "five".
