STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATIONS UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1940.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

Amendments of the Australian Barley Board Regulations.
“1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Security (Australian Barley Board) Regulations.
“1a. These Regulations shall be administered by the Minister of State for Commerce.”.
“(2.) The Board shall consist of three members, who shall be appointed by the Minister and hold office during his pleasure.
“(3.) The Minister shall appoint one of the members of the Board to be the Chairman of the Board.
“(4.) The Chairman of the

“(2.) The Chairman of the Board, or the other two members thereof, may at any time call a meeting of the Board.
“(3.) At all meetings of the Board, the Chairman and one other member shall form a quorum.”.
“(1.) The Minister may, for the purposes of these Regulations, constitute any Advisory Committee for any State.
“(1a.) Each Advisory Committee shall consist of such number of members as the Minister thinks fit.
“(1b.) The members of each Advisory Committee shall be appointed by the Minister and shall hold office during his pleasure.”.
“26. A person shall not make any false or misleading statement in any return furnished in pursuance of these Regulations.”.
(
a ) by omitting from Forms A and B the words “Barley Acquisition Regulations” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words “National Security (Australian Barley Board) Regulations”; and(
b ) by omitting Form C.
