Australian and Overseas Telecommunications Corporation Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Australian and Overseas Telecommunications Corporation Act 1991.

1. Amendment

1.1 The Australian and Overseas Telecommunications Corporation Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s.48.]

 

2. New Regulation 4

2.1 Add at the end:

Merging entities; merged entity; merger day—AOTC

“4. For the purposes of the Act:

(a) OTC Trunked Radio Systems Pty Limited and AOTC are a set of merging entities; and

(b) AOTC is the merged entity in relation to the set; and

(c) 31 January 1993 is the merger day in relation to the set and the merged entity.”.
