Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1]        On 21 November 2013, the Australian Aircrew Officers Association (AAOA) lodged

with the Fair Work Commission (the Commission) the prescribed information in relation to

an election for the following offices:

Chairman	(1)
Deputy Chairman	(1)
Secretary	(1)
Treasurer	(1)
General Committee Member	(3)

[2] On 21 November 2013, the Commission wrote to the organisation seeking documentary evidence that the interim Principal Officers of the AAOA determined that the number of offices of General Committee Member to be elected in the inaugural scheduled election of the AAOA shall be three (3) in accordance with rule 24(b)(ii).

[3]        On 24 November 2013, the AAOA provided a copy of a resolution of a meeting of the

interim Principal Officers of the AAOA which determined that the number of offices of
General Committee Member shall be three (3).

[4]        I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed offices is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
