1Name

This instrument is the Australia’s Foreign Relations (State and Territory Arrangements) Amendment (Foreign Entities) Rules 2024.

   Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

5AEntities prescribed to be foreign entities—universities in Russia or Belarus

For the purposes of paragraph 8(1)(j) of the Act, a university that is located in Russia or Belarus is prescribed.
