Preamble

The variations set forth in the Schedule below are variations to Standards in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code published by the National Health and Medical Research Council in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette, No. P 27, on 27 August 1987, which have been varied from time to time.

Citation

These variations may be collectively known as the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code – Amendment No. 118 – 2010.

Commencement

These variations commence on 2 September 2010.  

Correction of Typographical Errors

Amendment No. 117 published on 8 April 2010 contained the following typographical errors –

• Under Items [1.3] and [1.4], the text to be inserted in Schedule 1 to Standard 1.3.1 should have been Additives in Schedules 3 and 4 not Additives in Schedule 3 and 4.
