Audit Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, and being satisfied that the following Regulations are connected with the sale of Qantas Airways Limited, make those Regulations under the Audit Act 1901.

1. Commencement

1.1 These Regulations commence on the same day as Part 7 of the Schedule to the Qantas Sale Act 1992.

2. Declaration for the purposes of subsection 41 (1) of the Qantas Sale Act 1992

2.1 These Regulations are connected with the sale of Qantas Airways Limited.

3. Amendment

3.1 The Audit Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

4. Schedule 3 (Companies to which section 70BA of the Act applies)

4.1 Omit “Asia Pacific Distribution Ltd”.

4.2 Omit “Australian Asia Airlines Ltd”.

4.3 Omit “Qantair Ltd” to “Q. H. Tours Ltd” (inclusive).

4.4 Omit “VIVA! Holidays Ltd”.
