Audit Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Audit Act 1901.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations are taken to have commenced on 3 June 1994, being the sale day.

1.2 For the purposes of subsection 48 (1) of the CSL Sale Act 1993, it is declared that the Governor-General is satisfied that these Regulations are connected with the sale of CSL.

1.3   In this Regulation, “sale day” and “CSL” have the same meanings respectively as in the CSL Sale Act 1993.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Audit Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Schedule 2 (Companies to which section 70BA of the Act applies)

3.1   Omit “Coselco Insurance Pty Limited” and “CSL Limited”.
