Audit (Public Bodies) (Amendment) Regulations

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objectives

The objectives of these Regulations are to prescribe a body and to omit a body for the purposes of the definition of "public body" in section 3 of the Audit Act 1994.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 3 and

21 of the Audit Act 1994.

3. Commencement

(1) These Regulations (except regulation 6) come into

operation on 30 June 1998.

(2) Regulation 6 comes into operation on 1 July 1998.

4. Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Audit (Public Bodies)
Regulations 19951 are called the Principal

Regulations.

5. Body inserted in Schedule

At the end of the Schedule to the Principal
Regulations insert "Victorian Power Exchange

Pty Ltd A.C.N. 080 200 371".

6. Body omitted from Schedule

In the Schedule to the Principal Regulations omit

"Local Authorities Superannuation Board".
