300 Ottuxcsiatt ANNO VICESIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 13 of 1971 An Act to Amend the Audit Acts Amendment Act 1926-1970 in a certain particular [ A SSENTED To 16TH APRIL, 1971 ] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Audit Act Amendment Act 1971. (2) The Audit Acts Amendment Act 1926-1970 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Audit Acts Amendment Act 1926-1971.

Audit Act Amendment Act 1971, No. 13 301 2. Commencement of Act. This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on and from the fourth day of January, 1971 and shall operate retrospectively accordingly. 3. Amendment of s. 2. Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (1) and inserting in its stead the following subsection:- " (1) Subject to subsection (2) of this section the salary of the Auditor-General shall be at the rate of $17,852.00 per annum.,,.
