AUCTIONEERS, STOCK AND STATION AND REAL

ESTATE AGENTS (AMENDMENT) ACT.

Act No. 2, 1954.

An Act to amend section thirty-six of the Auctioneers, Stock and Station and Real Estate Agents Act, 1941-1946, in certain respects; and for purposes connected there- with [Assented to, 14th April, 1954.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South

Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 . (1) This Act may be cited as the "Auctioneers,

Stock and Station and Real Estate Agents (Amendment)
Act, 1954."

(2) The Auctioneers, Stock and Station and Real Estate Agents Act, 1941, as amended by subsequent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the Auctioneers, Stock and Station and Real Estate Agents Act, 1941-1954.

(3) This Act shall be deemed to have commenced
on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and
fifty-three.

2 . The Auctioneers, Stock and Station and Real Estate
Agents Act, 1941-1946, is amended by inserting at the
end of section thirty-six the following new subsection:—

(5) Until the day to be appointed and notified under subsection two of section forty-four of this Act, the foregoing provisions of this section do not apply to a licensee in respect of moneys received for or on behalf of any person by the licensee where those moneys are received by the licensee as proceeds of the sale by the licensee of wool (not being wool on the skin).
