2176 Auctioneers and Agents (Exemptions) No. 343, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Auctioneers and Agents (Exemptions) Regulation 1993 . ˙ Exemption of Norma Wendt 2.(1) In this section— “the applicant” means Norma Wendt of 32 Smith Street, Gatton. (2) The applicant is exempt from compliance with section 98(4) of the Act to the extent that is necessary for her to make the claim mentioned in subsection (3) against the Fund. (3) The claim is in relation to the failure of Goldlook Pty Limited, trading as ‘Kedron Discount Autos’, to pay stamp duty on the sale of a vehicle to the applicant. (4) This section expires 3 months after it commences. ˙ Exemption of Leanne Joan Bates 3.(1) In this section— “the applicant” means Leanne Joan Bates of ‘Torsdale’ Station, Biloela. (2) The applicant is exempt from compliance with section 98(4) of the Actto the extent that is necessary for the applicant to make the claim mentioned in subsection (3) against the Fund. (3) The claim is in relation to her purchase on 15 June 1988 of a motor vehicle from Halycon Motors Pty Ltd trading as ‘Metro Ford’. (4) This section expires 3 months after it commences. ˙ Repeal 4. Each order in council made under the Act, and published in the Gazette on the day and at the page specified in the Schedule, is repealed.
