This regulation may be cited as the Auctioneers and Agents (Exemptions) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1997 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the AuctioneersandAgents(Exemptions)Regulation 1995 . ˙ Insertion of new ss 4–8 3. After section 3— insert— ˙ ‘ Exemption for making claim against fund—Glen and Gordana Lapham ‘ 4.(1) Glen William Lapham and Gordana Lapham of Unit 4, 100 Racecourse Drive, Bundall, Queensland (the “Laphams” ) are exempted from the application of section 119(5) of the Act. ‘ (2) This section applies only for making a claim in the amount of $560 against the fund in relation to the asserted payment of a rental bond, within the meaning of the repealed RentalBondAct1989 , by the Laphams to Narelle Pemberton, trading as Narelle Pemberton Real Estate, of Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise, Queensland in 1990. ‘ (3) This section expires on 31 August 1997. ˙ ‘ Exemption for making claim against fund—Steven and Rachel Rowles ‘ 5.(1) Steven Allan Rowles and Rachel Ann Rowles of 1/5 Birdlife Court, Nerang, Queensland (the “Rowles” ) are exempted from the application of section 119(5) of the Act. ‘ (2) This section applies only for making a claim in the amount of $640 against the fund in relation to the asserted payment of a rental bond, within the meaning of the repealed Rental Bond Act 1989 , by the Rowles to Narelle

s3 3 s3 Auctioneers and Agents (Exemptions) Amendment (No. 2) No. 116, 1997 Pemberton, trading as Narelle Pemberton Real Estate, of Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise, Queensland in 1991. ‘ (3) This section expires on 31 August 1997. ˙ ‘ Exemption for making claim against fund—Yannie Fuller ‘ 6.(1) Yannie Fuller of Lot 6, Castles Road, Craignish, Hervey Bay, Queensland is exempted from the application of section 119(5) of the Act. ‘ (2) This section applies only for making a claim in the amount of $1 430.44 against the fund in relation to a caravan asserted to belong to Ms Fuller and to have been sold by Gordon Lewis Bentley, trading as Merrel Motors of 2/37 Winchester Street, Southport, Queensland in or about March 1991. ‘ (3) This section expires on 31 August 1997. ˙ ‘ Exemption for making claim against fund—Kevin Richard Denny ‘ 7.(1) Kevin Richard Denny of 22 Keast Street, Lucinda, Queensland is exempted from the application of section 119(5) of the Act. ‘ (2) This section applies only for making a claim in the amount of $8 000 against the fund in relation to a motor vehicle asserted to have been purchased by Mr Denny from Geoffrey Brian Pickering, trading as Townsville Motor Group, of 783 Flinders Street, Townsville, Queensland on or about 11 July 1987. ‘ (3) This section expires on 31 August 1997. ˙ ‘ Exemption for making claim against fund—Benjamin Angus Winefield ‘ 8.(1) Benjamin Angus Winefield of 10 Skirmish Court, Point Halloran, Queensland is exempted from the application of section 119(5) of the Act. ‘ (2) This section applies only for making a claim in the amount of $3 940.13 against the fund in relation to a motor vehicle purchased by Mr Winefield from Diamondbridge Pty Limited ACN 010 598 160, trading as Moorooka Wholesale Cars, of 972 Ipswich Road, Moorooka,
