This regulation may be cited as the Auctioneers and Agents (Exemptions) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1996 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the AuctioneersandAgents(Exemptions)Regulation 1995 . ˙ Insertion of new s 4 3. After section 3— insert — ˙ ‘ Exemption for making claim against the fund ‘ 4.(1) Howard John Lynch of 112 Westminster Avenue, Golden Beach, Queensland is exempted from the application of section 119(5) of the Act. ‘ (2) This section applies only for the making of a claim in the amount of $8 658 against the fund in relation to Mr Lynch’s purchase of a used motor vehicle from Mascotreach Pty Ltd ACN 010 962 455 trading as Garth Gibson Used Cars on or about 9 January 1992 and the subsequent sale of the vehicle by Mr Lynch to Anthony Dodds of 259 Kianawah Road, Wynnum West, Queensland on or about 15 November 1994. ‘ (3) This section expires 3 months after it commences.’.
