This regulation may be cited as the Auctioneers and Agents (Exemptions) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the AuctioneersandAgents(Exemptions)Regulation 1995 . ˙ Insertion of new s 3 3. After section 2— insert — ˙ ‘ Exemption for obtaining provisional auctioneer’s licence ‘ 3.(1) The following persons are exempted from section 40(7)(a) of the Act— • Wayne Gordon Clark, 12575 Camino Emparrado, San Diego, USA • Eddie Ray Graham, Route 1, Box 23-1A, Marlow, Oklahoma, USA • Darrel Delmer Yoder, 14546 State Highway, Lyons, Ohio, USA • Wayne Eugene Yoos, SS#2, Site 1, Compartment 106, Kamloops, B.C., Canada V2C 6C3. ‘ (2) This section applies only for the granting of a provisional auctioneer’s licence under which the holder is authorised to act under the direct supervision and instruction of a person who is— (a) a director of Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (Overseas) Ltd. (ARBN 065 858 586); and (b) the holder of a restricted auctioneer’s licence. ‘ (3) This section expires on 31 January 1998.’.
