This regulation may be cited as the Auctioneers and Agents (Exemptions) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1996 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the AuctioneersandAgents(Exemptions)Regulation 1995 . ˙ Replacement of s 2 (Exemption for obtaining corporation licence) 3. Section 2— omit, insert — ˙ ‘ Exemption for obtaining corporation licence ‘ 2. A corporation in the schedule is exempted from section 19(3)(b) of the Act.’. ˙ Amendment of s 3 (Exemption for obtaining provisional auctioneer’s licence) 4. Section 3(1), from ‘Section 35(6)(a)’ to ‘persons—’— omit, insert — ‘The following persons are exempted from section 40(7)(a) of the Act—’. ˙ Insertion of new schedule 5. After section 3— insert —
