Auctioneers and Agents Act Amendment Act 1981, No. 26 201 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Auctioneers and Agents Act Amendment Act 1981. (2) In this Act the Auctioneers and Agents Act1971-1980 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Auctioneers and Agents Act1971-1981. 2. Amendment of s. 5. Interpretation . Section 5 of the Principal Act is amended by in subsection (1) in the definition of " Commercial agent "- (a) omitting the word " or " appearing at the end of paragraph (f); and (b) inserting after paragraph (g) the following word and paragraph:- 4. or (h) is a bailiff appointed under or whose appointment as a bailiff is continued under The Sheriff's Act of 187-5. the DistrictCourts Act1967-1980 or the afagisrrates Courts Act 1921-1976; ". 3. Amendment of s. 92. Entries in licensee ' s books deemed made by him. Section 92 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after the word " kept " the word - by ".
