AN ACT to amend section six and section eleven of

the Auction Sales Act, 1973.

[Assented to 24th October, 1975.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Auction Sales Vir title

citation.

Act Amendment Act, 1975.

(2) In this Act the Auction Sales Act, 1973, is MA 73

referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Auction Sales Act, 1973-1975.

Section 6

amended. 2.

Section 6 of the principal Act is amended by deleting the designation "(3)", in line one of paragraph (c) of subsection (3), and substituting the designation "(5)".

Section /1	3.	Section 11 of the principal Act is amended
amended.

(a)	as to subsection (5), by deleting the words "a copy of the application together with", in line three of that subsection; and
(b)	by inserting a new subsection, to stand as subsection (5a), as follows

(5a) Where applications relating to two or more persons are made on the same day in respect of any one business or, in respect of related businesses the clerk of the Court of Petty Sessions at which those applications are to be heard may authorize the publication of a joint advertisement for the purposes of subsection (5) of this section. .
