Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Associations Incorporation Variation Regulations 2010.

2—Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made.

3—Variation provisions

In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.

4—Variation of Schedule 2—Fees

Schedule 2, items 2 and 3—delete the items and substitute:

For the supply of an uncertified copy of, or extract from, a document held by the Commission in relation to an association (in addition to the fee payable under clause 1)—

    (a)    in the case of rules of an association or a periodic return of a prescribed association

$17.35

    (b)    in any other case

$4.85

For the supply of a certified copy of, or extract from, a document held by the Commission in relation to an association (in addition to the fee payable under clause 1)—

    (a)    in the case of rules of an association or a periodic return of a prescribed association

As required by section 10AA(2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1978, the Minister has certified that, in the Minister's opinion, it is necessary or appropriate that these regulations come into operation as set out in these regulations.
