1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Associations Incorporation (Unsuitable Name) Amendment Regulation 2017.

2   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Associations Incorporation Regulation 1999.

3   Amendment of s 3 (General references)

(1)Section 3(1)—
insert—

(ca)for an association that is not a controlled entity—a name containing a word or phrase mentioned in schedule 1, part 2A;

(2)Section 3(1)(ca) to (k)—
renumber as section 3(1)(d) to (l).

(3)Section 3(2), ‘subsection (1)(i)’—
omit, insert—
