Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1]        On 8 December 2015 The Association of Independent Schools of South Australia (the

organisation) lodged with the Fair Work Commission (the Commission) the prescribed

information in relation to an election.

[2]        On 7 January 2016 the Commission contacted the organisation and requested amended

prescribed information to clarify the number and name of Board Member offices required to

be included in the scheduled election in accordance with the organisation’s rules.

[3]        On 12 January 2016 the organisation lodged amended prescribed information for the

following offices:

Board Members

Head of a Secondary or R-12 School	(2)
Nominee Governor of a Secondary or R-12 School	(1)

Executive Committee Officers

Chair	(1)
Deputy Chair	(1)
Treasurer	(1)

[4]        On 7 and 12 January 2016 the organisation also lodged prescribed information in

relation to a casual vacancy election, for the remainder of the term, for the following office:

Board Member

Nominee Governor of a Primary School (1)

[5]        I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed offices is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
